About I'm planning an escape plan, will it work Boston

I'm planning an escape plan, will it work?--Boston?
I'm not gonna get into much detail but here's how it goes: My mom's crazy and she's always on my ass about going to the movies on summer. I've seen everything that's come out, and she doesn't know shit. Now, I got this screening coming up tomorrow for Bruno at the AMC Boston Common Cinema at 7 o clock, but I gotta arrive around 6 30. Thing is unlike my next-door movie theatre to take this one I gotta take a bus into Harvard Square which would take bout 10 to 20 minutes, then take the subway into Boston which would be around 20 or 30 minutes, and watch it, then go back. My question is, what should I tell my boss I'm doing while I watch the movie? Last weekend she caught me going to see Public Enemies and she made a tango about it...which still didn't make a difference if I saw it or not- wjhatever, she's nuts- so I erased every friend and friend's parents contact in her phone-....now wat?

Answer 1 :
Make up an excuse about a friend or family problem, e.g, illness or something like that, she can't say your lying if you tell her a relative had died.
Answer 2 :
How about be honest and say You are going to see a movie. She may shock you and say OK. She is probably "nuts" because you lie and deceive her. If she knows where you are than she may be a little easier on you,

About i want to work in Boston, how

I want to work in Boston, how?
I recently came back from a student visa experience in Boston. It was the best thing I've ever done and I would really like to work there for a longer period of time, I'm looking at 1 to 2 years. I went on a BUNAC visa which is only aimed at students, how would I be able to work there for a longer period of time seeing as I'm British. Thanks

Answer 1 :
Super difficult to get a work visa, Need to be highly educated and skilled and find an employer FIRST to sponsor your work visa. Always very difficult, and with high unemployment in the U.S. now, even more so. see below to read up on work visas and look thru other types to see if you can find any possibilities.
Answer 2 :
Apply for a job there You will need a work visa, you can get one at the American Consulate in your country
Answer 3 :
You need to come back here and try to work for hotels. Hotel are the best choice to get a resident visa in U.S.A. I work in a Hotel and they've given two resident visa for two of my coworkers

About registered Nurses who work in Boston

Registered Nurses who work in Boston?
I'm hoping to move to Boston in a year and get an RN job. I see many positions online, but I'd like actual RN opinions. What kind of pay? (if you feel like answering lol) What hospital and unit? One thing I am concerned about is commuting. I plan on living outside Boston maybe the Quincy area- so I'll be commuting in by public transportation. How do you get to work and how long does it take? Prices to commute? Also...Do you LIKE your job and the area? THANKS so much!

About tax benefits for the people who stay in NewHampshire and work in Boston

Tax benefits for the people who stay in NewHampshire and work in Boston.?
HI All, I need an expert advice ( from the Tax filing people or any other who has more understanding and knowledge on the properties, tax benefits, etc.) regarding the below question. As of now I m renting an apartment in Boston and working in Boston. In Boston there is state tax. So I want to move to NewHampshire which is tax free state. Do I get refund of all the taxes paid from my paycheck if I stay in NewHampshire even though I work in Boston? Thanks
United States - 3 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
You will still pay MA tax because you earn the money there. If you worked and lived in NH you would pay no tax.
Answer 2 :
No, you will not save a dime in taxes by moving to NH. MA will continue to have the right to tax your income that you earn in MA. And because of how the MA tax laws work, you may pay HIGHER taxes if you have unearned income either in MA or NH as a non-resident of MA. Unless you can rent in NH for less than the difference between the added cost of commuting to Boston and your Boston rent (and don't forget the major hassle of rush hour commutes into Boston!) moving to NH is probably not a worthwhile idea. Keep in mind that property taxes in NH are sky-high and those will be reflected in the rent that you'll pay in NH. The old days of "bargain-rate rents" just over the NH state line are LONG gone!
Answer 3 :
doesn't work that way, your tax home is where you work and since that is Boston even if you move away from there, that is where you work and that is where you file

Answer 1 :
Cuz Boston is a kickass band and Pizza is a kickass menu item.
Answer 2 :
"to gain experience in a friendly & enjoyable environment"
Answer 3 :
only to get to eat pizza for free what other reason is there
Answer 4 :
Cause we're all friends at Boston Pizza
Answer 5 :
When you walked into the store, why did you choose there? They want you to have a good reason for choosing them. You could say something like: I really love pizza, and want to learn how to make it. Or I like to work with people, and want to explore customer relations. something like that. Make sure it doesn't sound too lame, because employers don't want to hear something like...I just want a job, and your store was open.
Answer 6 :
For Money! Honesty goes a long way right?

About please help does the samsung E350 phone work in Boston, USA if it was bought in England

PLEASE HELP......... does the samsung E350 phone work in Boston, USA if it was bought in England?
I have the samsung E350 and i am going on a trip to Boston, USA soon and i dont know if it will work and if i will be able to make calls on it whilst im there. please help. any information gratefully accepted. thank you x
Boston - 2 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
You would have to see if it operates on the proper band. The Samsung E350 operates in the 900/1800/1900 bands. Most locations in America use 850/1900, so it may work. Call your provider and ask them. You should also ask them if they have a roaming agreement with a provider in the Voston area.
Answer 2 :
The important thing is your phone provider. You have to call them and ask if they will provide you service while in Boston. If they will not is your phone "unlocked" ? If you have an unlocked phone you can see what prices local providers will charge you. You probably have a GSM phone provider and those are not as common in the USA. Your phone is a tri band so it can connect to other systems if it is unlocked. T-Mobile uses GSM standard phones so you can try them or just buy a cheap phone at a local convenience store and buy some minutes right at the store. I have rented phones while in Europe and I will warn you it is not cheap to call home on a rented phone. Try asking your own provider before anything else. Good Luck

There are a ton of jobs in Boston, and the subway will take you almost anywhere you need to go (and it is cheep) The cost of living can be somewhat high, but if you find a place in the suburbs, you can take the T into Boston.

Where did David Walker live and work in Boston?
I am from the Boston area and have done a lot of the tourist activities, but I have never been told where David Walker (black abolitionist) lived when he moved to Boston. I know that he owned a used clothing store on the waterfront to earn a living- where is that site?

Information only states he ran a shop on the waterfront. He probably lived there also as was common in those days. Check with the Boston Historical Society. They may have additional information.

I can only find information on his store. There are many sources about him on the internet. One that I found interesting is http://afroamhistory.about.com/od/davidwalker/a/bio_walker_d.htm Possibly you could try toe Boston Historical Society.

About how much do you think a licensed apprentice plumber would charge per hour for side work in Boston area

How much do you think a licensed apprentice plumber would charge per hour for side work in Boston area?

Small Business - 2 Answers
People's Answers, Critics, Comments, Opinions :
Answer 1 :
Nothing if you ain't qualified yet!!!
Answer 2 :
It would vary depending on what year the apprentice is as well as his knowledge. I would imagine you could charge anywhere from $15-50 an hour without too much problem assuming you have sufficient knowledge. Many homeowners don't want a first year apprentice fixing their plumbing without supervision. So you'd likely find it hard to get work or get paid on the low end of the spectrum. If you're fully licensed with lots of experience, I don't see why you couldn't make close to $50 an hour.
