Answer 1 :
Avoid all public transportation if you can. People are disgusting and sneeze and cough without covering their mouths.
Answer 2 :
Definitely not!
Answer 3 :
no as long as your not going to mexico!
Answer 4 :
Gosh no !!! There is mass hysteria. Just carry some hand sanitazer.
Answer 5 :
BELOW IS BORROWED FROM : NATURALNEWS.COM (I’ve reformatted it and snipped a little of it) (This information came from an email from Patt, marked VERY IMPORTANT) According to reports . . . . this strain of influenza contains viral code fragments from: Human influenza Bird Flu from North America Swine flu from Europe Swine flu from Asia This is rather astonishing to realize, because for this to have been a natural combination of viral fragments, it means: 1. an infected bird from North America 2. would have had to infect pigs in Europe, 3. then be re-infected by those same pigs 4. with an unlikely cross-species mutation that allowed the bird to carry it again, 5. then that bird would have had to fly to Asia and infect pigs there, 6. and those Asian pigs then mutated the virus once again (while preserving the European swine and bird flu elements) to become human transmittable, 7. and then a human would have had to catch that virus from the Asian pigs -- in Mexico! -- and spread it to others. (This isn't the only explanation of how it could have happened, but it is one scenario that gives you an idea of the complexity of such a thing happening). Now, on a common sense level, what is the likelihood of such a combination of seemingly unlikely, trans-continental events taking place? At first glance, without the benefit of additional laboratory analysis, it seems extremely unlikely that this could have happened "naturally," without human intervention. It's not outside the realm of possibility, of course, but it seems exceedingly remote that such events happened without some human encouragement.
Answer 6 :
I would not change my plans. This is not a pleasure trip. How important is the conference. If it is not the most important element of your career skip it. But, I would not be concerned with getting the flu.

About if I live in Boston and work in New Hampshire, do I need to pay MA state income tax? Is it refunded end of yr

If I live in Boston and work in New Hampshire, do I need to pay MA state income tax? Is it refunded end of yr?
My job is located in New Hampshire, but I'd rather live in Boston because my family/friends live there. Am I responsible for paying MA state income tax? If so, will I receive an income tax refund for all the money? Appreciate your help on this.

Answer 1 :
yes, you need to pay mass tax. do your taxes and find out. why is this in travel and not taxes?
Answer 2 :
Yep, MA will tax your income from New Hampshire if you live in MA. If you paid some tax in NH, MA would give you credit for paying NH - but considering that NH doesn't have income tax, you will get to pay it all to MA. Your employer will withhold the MA tax from your paycheck. You will pay MA tax just as though you were working in MA. If your goal is to avoid state income tax, I'd move to NH and use the savings to drive to Boston when you want to see your friends.
Answer 3 :
You have to pay Mass income taxes and you will not receive an income tax refund for all the money.
Answer 4 :
"Am I responsible for paying MA state income tax?". YUP! "will I receive an income tax refund for all the money? ". NOPE! zippo! Sorry!
Answer 5 :
I believe so, but unfortunately you wont receive a refund for that State. You can call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 they should be able to help. For the future you can try http://www.filelate.com, this is an online tax Service i've used and they are helpful at answering my question, Good Luck

Answer 1 :
Boston has so many hospitals. . . .I know a lot of people love their work at Beth Isrea. I used to work at a financial firm for another hospital, and all their employees used to leave to go to Beth Isreal and wanted to work there.
Answer 2 :
Boston is very well known for their hospitals. Some of the major hospitals are Mass General, Brigham and Woman's, Beth Israel and Children's Hospital. There is also Mass Eye and Ear is you are looking for some sort of specialized hospital. As far as how these hospitals treat employees, I really am not sure.
Answer 3 :
Partners Healthcare owns several hospitals in the Boston area including MGH and Brigham & Womens in the city, and a few more in the suburbs. My mom works for a Partners hospital and has no complaints, many of her co-workers have been with the hospital for a long time. Plus if you wanted to work at a different hospital, you have quite a few options that are still in the same company.
Answer 4 :
Massachusetts General Hospital
