How old do I have to be to work at Boston Market in Meriden?
So, I'm 15 going on 16 in May . And I was just curious as to how old I had to be to work at Boston Market . And if I were to apply now would there be a slim chance i'd get hired ?

Legally 16. But possibly 17 would be most appropriate I'm guessing they must be hiring.... I remember seeing some hiring signs the last time I bought a chicken salad

In May when your 16 you can work at Boston Market. But if you don't know, you can't just walk in a store and say "Hey, I want to work here". They have to be willing to hire and then you will have to go through an interview like you did for highschool, then you will be able to work if your accepted.

About i am about to join Boston Analytics and i hold an MBA from IIM. I want to know how is it as a place to work
I am about to join Boston Analytics and i hold an MBA from IIM. I want to know how is it as a place to work?
The role is in financial research. I want to know what are career growth opportunities here and after and what kinda place to work is Boston Analytics. Its urgent so any help/advice/pointers will be appreciated.

About anyone know a good place for summer only waitressing work in Boston city MA
Anyone know a good place for summer only waitressing work in Boston city MA?
Im a J1 student planning to head over in June and am looking for work in Boston area, ive loads of experience incl Ryder Cup work. Preferably somewhere on a bus route, can email CV any time. Any suggestions of where to look? or any recomendations would be great. Thanks

Legal Seafood is best waitressing job in boston. The place is tremendously busy as both a local favorite and a must see tourist stop so the potential of making a lot of money is there. You must be good in a rushing crowd.

I worked at Stephanie's On Newbury for a couple summers (well year round) and it is an AWESOME place to be in the summer. Always packed and they have a huge patio which is prime people watching, so it s a major hot spot. The wait to sit outside can get to over two hours and people will wait. The menu is a bit pricier, which is good for a server, b/c you make more money. And there is an automatic gratuity on all patio tables, so you are guaranteed to make some cash. Its a fun place to work and it has a more upscale clientele than Legal Seafood, which is filled with tourists all the time that dont have a clue.

I would agree that a place like Stephanies would be better than Legal Seafood. Or check out the other places on Newbury Street. A good option would be to work in a pub, too. Shorter shifts with more money b/c of the drinks being served. Stay away from tourist traps where people don't understand the rules about tipping. Or go out of Boston to Martha's Vinyard or Cape Cod.

Where can I work in Boston if my English is not good?
Hello! Now I studying English in scholl in Boston. My opinion if I will work with american people I'll improve my language, but I dont know where i cand find job? who give me a job?

Don't know what language you speak, but I would see if you can get a job interpreting. Many government jobs and courts need interpreters. Call the courts and see if they are in need or if they can refer you to the agencies where they get their interpreters from.

First off, I would like to commend you on TRYING to learn the language. Some people who are actually born here don't make that much of an effort. Check with your career planning department in your school. They may have companies they work with who can use employees who english isn't that great. Also maybe you can work as a busboy somewhere. Is there a prepaid cellular plan that can work in Boston and in Ottawa Canada?
Is there a prepaid cellular plan that can work in Boston and in Ottawa Canada? I have purchased a Cingular pay as you go but it doesnt work at all. I cant even set up voice mail. Any one got an idea of what cellphone service i can get that i can use with a boston # while in canada?

yea nextel works every wear i dont have a prepaid plan but i know that they still have one

You need to contact Cingular and find out why it is not working. "Did you buy your phone card?" That has to be purchased first in order for your phone to work. You will have to put in codes, if its a prepaid phone. Unless they bill you.. Try that first before you go out and buy another one. Good Luck!

you should do as Sue said first, and before you get Nextel, make sure that the prepaid service they offer (Boost) will work there. Although Nextel works there, it's not Nextel's system that you're actually using, it's a company they have a deal with.
